Ehan Creative announced that it has carried out the student-participatory community cooperation Yunggeunneung Metaverse Development Project in cooperation with the Hwaseong Education Cooperation Support Center.

The Yunggeunneung Metaverse was selected for the ‘2023 NRP Production Support Project’ promoted by the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency and implemented the Yunggeunneung in Hwaseong, a UNESCO cultural heritage, as a metaverse. Each of the Yunggeunneung walking trails, Gonsinji, Jeongjagak, and Subokbang were constructed identically to the actual structures, and were prepared as content that allows people to understand the Joseon royal tombs and learn about King Jeongjo’s filial piety.

This development project activity was carried out in cooperation with the Hwaseong Education Cooperation Support Center and first-year students of Naru High School in Hwaseong.

The student activities included experiencing and coming up with ideas for the Yunggeunneung Metaverse, participating in the development of the metaverse, and exploring career paths. Through direct Yunggeunneung field trips and explanations by guides, the students were able to derive differences and improvements between the actual Yunggeunneung and the metaverse Yunggeunneung, and the contents applied were presented by each program division and completed. The course was held from November 11. The graduation ceremony for the class is scheduled to be held at the Dawonimteo in Hwaseong City on November 25.
