Spreading Your Wings with Hyundai Department Store Kintex Branch through Metaverse Education Platform ‘Duwing’

Metaverse education platform Duwing announced that it will hold a PLAY&TECH exhibition on the 9th floor of Hyundai Department Store KINTEX from August 18th (Fri) to 27th (Sun).
In this exhibition, Leehan Creative will conduct metaverse education and experience activity programs using the Duwing platform, and will conduct a weekend paid education program with an environmental forest guide.
In the experience activity program, you can perform missions such as eco-plogging, bioindicator species, and carbon neutral cards in the metaverse environment, and conduct activity programs while interacting with living things in the metaverse space.

An official said, “The previous exhibition was sold out and the program is being carried out successfully.” The education manager at Leehan Creative explained that in the revised 2022 curriculum, education using digital media has been strengthened, and education using the metaverse will not only increase the concentration of classes, but also increase the effectiveness of education through cooperation and collaboration between users.

Meanwhile, Dewing, produced by Leehan Creative, allows multiple users to collaborate on various educational content in a virtual space and use various content including games. Currently, Dewing is being used by the Hwaseong City Human Resources Development Foundation, Seongnam City Jungwon Training Center, etc., and companies such as Lotte Hotel & Lotte World are also utilizing Dewing as corporate metaverse education.

Since the open beta launch in November 2022, many users have experienced Dewing through exhibitions at Hanam Starfield, Hyundai Department Store Pangyo, Mokdong, and KINTEX, and Leehan Creative is conducting metaverse programs with the Hwaseong City Human Resources Development Foundation and visiting metaverse classrooms.

Leehan Creative CEO Jeon Hye-ran said, “In the second half of 2023, we plan to release historical and cultural content based on UNESCO’s cultural heritage, and we plan to release various content created in collaboration with distribution companies.” She added, “In 2022, we will officially open the app by applying AI technology and a multi-party collaboration system to enable digital multi-party education through cooperative play between users according to the established curriculum.”
